Hi Guys

I'm a newbie to this custom editing / discrete codes so please be kind.

I've got, and love, my Sony AX1400 and have even got the fiancee using it.

I've just upgraded a whole load of my AV kit and am trying to get the Sony discrete codes for functions (power etc). Some of them I've found in this forum, all of the others I can find - but only as Pronto codes. Is there an easy(ish) way to convert Pronto to Sony? I've read about tools like IRLab, IRTool, Decode_IR_DLL but can't really make heads or tails of them.

I'm quite happy with editing tables.txt, names.txt and XXXX.hex but can't work out what to put in the XXXX.hex

Can someone please help me?

Many thanks

David
