HI,
I have searched for many hours looking for a code to use with my Sony RM-Y168 remote to control a Dish Network TR-40 DTV converter. I even called Dish and they had no clue and did not even know they sold a DTV converter. I know this is old school equipment but I would like to use only one remote to keep my old Sony TV and DTV working.
Thanks

Well, that's the same as the DTVPal I believe, but that's not going to help.

1) Sony OEM remotes don't have a good selection of universal codes to begin with.

2) Sony always refused to put Dish Network codes on their older remotes. Sometimes you could get around that if there was a Canadian ExpressVu code, as they were the same (but a DTV converter will not use the same codes as a DSS receiver).

3) The DTVPal is circa 2008, your remote is circa 1999. The two never had a chance of meshing.
