I'm having some trouble connecting my remote to my stereo. It used to be connected before but it was not used for a long time so the controls commands were erased. If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated because I am a noob with this. :)

Can't suggest anything specifically, but maybe download the manual for your remote [Link: files.remotecentral.com] and see if there's anything there that would help.

You may have changed the command code on either the remote or the receiver, so they are no longer linked together. Click here to learn how to change your Sony receiver (and its remote) to AV1 (or AV2) Command Mode
