I just got this after moving and stupidly putting all my remotes in one box and losing that box. I have gotten it to power on my TV and vcr/dvd player. It recognizes the vcr/dvd as a VCR. I cannot seem to get it to move between menu items on a DVD. What am I doing wrong? I have a Sony Trinitron XBR and a Panasonic PVD4743s.

Try another codeset - perhaps from the DVD side. Or do a code search, that might bring up some other functional codes.
