Hi, does anyone knows the four digits IR Code for the Rotel RCD 1072 to be used with the Sony RM AV3000 commander ? I do not have the original Rotel remote therefore I can not use the learning function of the Sony Remote. Any help will be appreaciate it. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but the there is no code in the code list for the AV3000 and there doesn't appear to be any advanced/discrete codes either for the Rotel.
The only thing I can offer is that OFA or Radio Shack remotes usually have a larger code base and might have the Rotel listed, so you could get one and teach the codes to the AV3000.

There is a CCF file here in the Pronto Area for a RCD-1070, and it uses the same protocol as the RCD-950 upgrade at hifi-remote.com. It is NEC1, device 131.18.
I am not aware of any UEI remote (OneForAll, RS, Comcast, etc.) which is capable of providing NEC1 131.18, unless an upgrade is loaded. A few remotes can do that via a built-in acoustic modem, but most require an interface cable-- purchasable for $29, or buildable for much less in parts cost.
