In another thread Mr Mod, along with many working codes, reported these possibilities for the Sony XDR-F1HD receiver.

on - 037A0200002E00000083
off - 037A0200002F00000083

These seem to take no action on my receiver and as it turns out these are two I really want to improve the reliability of my macros.

Any other ideas?

thanks very much

Thanks Guy
I couldn't get any of those I tried to work.
The names look right but no activity on my Receiver.

I'll try to capture and decode one from the original remote and report back.

OK Guy, success!
I captured IR onto a scope off the original remote and got this for the power button:

0x13D15 or in binary:

MSB-LSB
Sub-Dev Dev Code
00010011 11010 0010101
LSB transmits first

That is 26.19 code 21 (in decimal)

Using the complicated rules from this link:
[Link: remotecentral.com]

I come up with:
037A0200001500000083

And after programming that into the AX1400 it successfully toggles power.
The remaining codes are probably as you gave above but with 037A02 in the highest digits.

Oh and I just noticed the 037A02 code that works is what you reported way up at the top of this thread. It seems the 2E and 2F discrete codes don't work with this receiver.

I did just now verify preset + and - do work correctly.

thanks

Anyone ever find a discrete on off command pair vs the toggle?
