If you have the original remote you can teach everything you need to the 3000. If not, I think the only other solution might be to try and find a universal remote that operates the Conia and teach that to the 3000.

I don't have much info on a Conia, but if the remote is IR, you should be able to learn on the 3000. It could be one of those weird IR remotes which can't be learned on the 3000, but I can't tell.

You can learn on any screen and any key without setting a component code, so that is not the problem.

What happens when you try to learn? Do you get the 2 beeps and NG?

Be sure and hold the key down on the Conia remote until the 3000 beeps, if it ever does. Other than that, there isn't much more that I can tell you.

I googled on the Conia M380, and it looks straightforward enough, so good luck on teaching it to the 3000.

Hi Ron, Thanks for your help, I finally got it!I took the two remotes into a darker room then started to learn the remote but the NG signal came on, i pressed the button be learnt a second time it stopped and then it accepted the signal from the original remote signal ? It took me six hours to work it out but theres nothing better than the sweet smell of success! Thanks again.
Regards, frankieb.
