I have a Sony RM-AV1100 remote that came with a
TV I bought back around 1993. Superficially,
it looks like a 2000, with some different
labelling (ex. LD instead of DVD).

It does not seem to be able to auto-switch the
(Sony) amp when I select a category with one of
the "hard" buttons. You mention that the 2000
does this, but not by default. Can you tell me
if my 1100 will do it? The instructions are quite
limited, as it's really a TV manual. If you don't
specifically know, maybe you could tell me how
you enable the feature on a 2000... possibly it
would work on an 1100 also.
