I just bought a RM-VL710 based on recommendations from this site and my love of sony remotes over all other brands. One of the main reasons I bought it was to replace my old MadCatz Playstation 2 remote. It looks like the 710 can learn codes from the MadCatz but can't do anything with them. My PS2 is an older one without an IR receiver built in, so I guess I have to go out and buy a new remote/IR receiver kit. Does anyone know which PS2 remotes (Sony brand and other brands?) can be used to "teach" a 710 to control a PS2. Thanks!

The MadCatz PS/2 remote has a reputation for being impossible to learn. Doesn't Sony still sell an add-on remote?
