While using my RM-AV3100 my screen went blank and I lost all functions. Checked the batteries and replaced all still no functions or display. Anyone have any suggestions, wasn't sure if there was some kind of external reset that may help.

I have had this problem on 4 of the 3100 remotes (out of 100 or more) I found a "fix by accident. Take out all the batteries and LEAVE them OUT for an hour or so, replace them with quality new batteries. This has worked everytime for me. I have also found that if you use week batteries that may work in another remote, the wont power up the 3100. let me know if this helps. cb1

why have a nice system if you cant operate it, program the remote the right way the FIRST time! |
