Can the Sony remote (RM-AAP040) that came with my AV receiver (STR-DN1000) be programmed to control the Scientific American HD-DVR from Comcast (RNG200)? If so, how? Thanks.

I just got the same receiver. Does anyone know which receiver I could use as a surrogate for my URC-MX810? It's not in the pro wizard software yet.

Just to followup. I found the manual for the receiver and the remote is supposedly programmable to work the Comcast box, but after multiple attempts, I couldn't get it to work. I'm just going to get a cheap universal remote.
