I very much wanted a universal remote with a programmable interface (button labeling, etc...)
and was willing to pay the price for the pronto.

I am also not the only one in the house that uses
a remote and this one seems simple enough for
everyone to use.

I enjoyed the Sony very much and think it's a great remote....
