I purchased an open box DAVC 770 dream system from circuit city. The sales man mentioned that the remote included was not the original but that it appeared to work. The system was being sold for a song so I figured why not.
All the of the amp functions work and the power button works. However, I can get the remote to work all the DVD functions. The fast forward and rewind works, but play, pause stop and the menu buttons don't. Is there any way I can get it to work, or should I just get a universal?

There are no codes for Dream Systems in Sony remotes, but if you click here you will get some alternative suggestions.
