I have an AV3000 and you can scroll through 3 or 4 preset labels. I just upgraded to the AX4000 and I see it has multiple names on each key in the manual but I don't see how to scroll through them. Can somebody please help me?

When you say label keys in the title, I think you are talking about the square touch keys and not the rectangular label keys.

Looks like you might have to use the AX remote editor. See Option 2 on page 14 of the manual. I couldn't find anything else in the manual that tells you how to do it on the remote.

You could try the procedure used in the 3000/3100 remotes, which is: When you are in the learn mode, press and hold the component name key, then press the touch key repeatedly to scroll through the choices.

Don't know if this will work but it is worth a try. Let me know what happens.

Thanks Ron but I did try the procedure for the RM3000. But further reading into the manual indicated they were fixed (Bummer). So i just used the text labels at the bott
om of the screen to name the commands that were missing.

on any given device in the ax-4000 you only have 3 options for names for the square buttons on the touch screen..

when viewing the device in the ax editor you choose the button then to the right you will see the button by itself, click on it and you can choose which label to display.
