Hi,
I have a Sony AV3000 and I used to have it set up to turn all of my devices on using one of the system buttons.
I had some problems with my set up, which led me (incorrectly) to reseting my tv controls on the AV3000, and now I cannot figure out how I managed to get the tv to turn on using the system button!
The problem is I have a Panasonic TV and all those of you who have a similar set will probably know that for some unknown reason, you have to hold down the power button for a couple of seconds to get Panasonics to turn on.
When I try to create my system control now, I can't find how to extend the time that power command is emitted for, so I get a brief flash of the "on" command which isn't enough to wake the TV up!
Does anybody know how I can extend that command, or has anybody found a way around this problem?! It is ok for me, but I'm getting fed up with people who claim they don't know how to use my remote control to turn my amp, tv and set-top-box on!
Thanks in advance!

You can't manually extend a command. Did this actually work before? If so, then perhaps it has something to do with the preprogrammed code...

Yes, I did have it working before, and I can't figure out for the life of me how I managed it!
I haven't ever used the preset codes, but I might give that a go as a last resort!

Maybe the bug where an incorrectly learned code is repeated three times actually does something useful in your situation.
