Hello everyone. Long time reader, first time posting. I have the following equipment that I would like to purchase a universal remote to control everything. From what I have read on the board it looks like the Home Theater Master SL-9000, or the Sony RM-AV2500 may do the trick. My main concern is that I am able to use the "IO" button and the "PIP" buttons.
Television - Mitsubishi WS-55819 Home Theater - Pioneer VSXD409 DVD Player - Pioneer DV-578A Digital Cable Box - Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4200HD
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Since both of your choices are learning remotes, you can always learn any missing commands, so either one should work for you.

I should note that the SL-9000 is an old model, and if you decided you prefer a hard buttoned remote over the RM-AV2500 you would likely be better off with one of their newer models, such as the URC-100, URC-200 or MX-500.
