I am try'n to figure out how to change the PIP channels, when I press the PIP button the grid is brought up with 9 channels viewing and I am able to quick jump to any of those channels however when I press the PIP function a single channel continues to come up and by repeatedly pressing the PIP button it only adjusts the size of the PIP channel not the channel. How do I change what channels are displayed and also how do I cycle through channels while I am watchin a channel with the PIP on?????????

I couldn't find the manual for your TV, but if it has twin-view pip, then the pip button on the 2000 won't work, as you already know.

If you have the original remote, learn the twin-view pip command, and also learn the channel up and down buttons, and any other commands that you need from the original remote.

If you don't have the original remote in working order, take your 2000 to a store and learn the commands from one of their remotes.

You need a RM-Y128 remote, which has been replaced by the RM-Y144 remote, but does not give you the ability to change the PIP channel.

As I said above, you should go to a TV store that has a similar remote and learn the commands you need. It looks like your TV was made in 1995, but the newer ones should work the same way.
