I called J&R(1-800-221-8180 x1023 for Salesperson Alex, I told him I understood the Sony RM-AV2000 was being sold by J&R for $105 and that I wanted one. No hassle gave me the price and it's on the way...Thanks for this site..it saved me bucks and I got to use my AMX to double the warranty.

I spoke with Alex today and due to the increase of people asking for the $105 price, they discontinued it. But I told them that I could get it for $109.95 and he spoke with his manager and they matched that price, plus gave me free 2 day shipping. Thanks for the info about the company everyone.

Be here in 3-5 days.. It took a total of 45 seconds to complete the transaction. I turn 31 yrs old tommorrow and this is a perfect gift for myself.

I got it too. Instead of Alex I spoke with Jack at J&R (1-800-221-8180) Ext. 1024 and got it too!! Do NOT mention anything other than that you saw it on the net. I talked about what great exposure they were getting and he told me NOT to tell anyone else that price. (He was not pleased about the deal but gave me the price anyway).

I checked out the RM AV2000 review on your site and bought it from Phillip (X1011) at J&R just a couple of hours ago. (I hadn't read about the $110.25 price yet). Then I read it on this forum and called Jack at X1024. Jack wasn't happy about this, but he put me on to Phillip who agreed to make the adjustment. And now it's on it's way at 110.25

Just ordered from Jack at the $110.25 delivered price. He stated that he wishes that price would go away. It was something they offered to a customer who ordered $3500 in merchandise, but he will honor it to avoid disappointing customers. No real hassles, just a little flack and a brand new remote in 7-10 days. NICE!

I also ordered the remote today. I can appreciate the company not wanting to sell this item for cost, but, I woould definately buy from them agin because they honor their word and out up with this kind of stuff. They know how to satisfy their customer base and will be in business much longer than a company that would have turned us away.
