I have a RM-AV3000 remote and I just got a Hughes HD10-250 Sat Receiver/Tivo. Because there doesn't seem to be a preset code for this brand new model, I learned all the keys I could. The problem is that when I press the number keys, I get only 1 digit on the screen. i.e. it works fine to press "1-2-3" and I'll get channel 123. However, when I program the Channel Macro for "1-2-3-enter", I see "111-222-333" on the screen. Sony has no clue why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks.

Thanks. I'll try it and post my outcome. I have to admit I'm a little doubtful, but I was REALLY unimpressed by Sony's CSR!

I have a similar problem with a Samsung SIR-TS160 HD Receiver. I'm using a 3 digit plus enter channel macro. When it goes thru the entered info twice, all is well. Sometimes it works right but most of the time it give me a 1, 2 or 3 digit channel. The channel number is always made up of the 3 numbers I entered. All the channel numbers were learns from the Samsung remote. It looks like I sometimes get a double entry on some of the number keys. I've re-learn them many times. I've also varied the screen touch with no help. HELP.

I think I've found part of the problem. The receiver has a flip down door with a window in it for the IR signal. With the door closed, the side vision is limited. It is like adding 3 fluffy blankets. Works more reliably with the door open.
