does the RM-V302 or any other sony univeral remote have codes for Motorola satellite boxes? DSR-405, as used in Canada for StarChoice.

Well, Motorola = General Instruments = Jerrold (in reverse order of how they were bought out), and the V302 does have a GI StarChoice code. Does it work with your model? I don't know...

I have an early (pre 98) GI 405 and code 016 (Philips-DCB) works with my RM-V202 with the CBL/SAT button set to SAT. The user's manual says code 009 works with 1998 and later GI (Motorola) 405 units only.
