Ron,
Thanks again for all of your help. Some pilot error on this end but was finally able to program the previous channel function of the Hughes remote to one of the label keys at the bottom and rename it. So the Hughes dilemma is finally resolved. There are obviously some functions we never use so I’m not even going to worry about it. My other question regarding the Technics CD player. It is a five CD changer. On the Technics remote you have the ability to select disc 1-5. Is there any way to program that function onto the commander other than putting it on screen keys that can’t be renamed? I promise only a few more questions. This seems like quite the device and I want to be able to use it to its fullest.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice. I will be posting this to the forum as well.
Regards and Happy New Year!
Clark

Relable the four buttons at the bottom of the touchscreen to say disc 1, disc2, 3, 4, by pressing "CD" at the top of the touchscreen you have four more buttons, press again and you have 4 more , a total of 12. If you have **** at the bottom, you can relabel those. After you relable them, you can learn dics 1-5 from the orignal remote. cb1
