Well after reading all (most) of these glowing reviews of this remote, I also plunked down $135US for the opportunity to own one. I took everybodies advice and ordered one from computability.com. They say it will be 3-4 days (I live in Southern Ontario Canada).
I tried to be a good citizen and help support my local economy but the Sony stores around here don't carry this remote and the general feeling is they won't carry it for some time. But I, like many of you I imagine, couldn't resist being the first person on my block (in my city?) to have one.
For those of you out there who scoff at a $145 remote just remember that your home theater/stereo/TV/DSS/DVD/VCR isn't a nessicity either.
