Strange that that site doesn't have AV receivers in its device list.

You could also try resetting the remote to its factory settings. Since its a Sony remote and a Sony device, the remote might operate the device without any changes to the factory settings.

I own a str-dn850. The remote wasnt working. I held the power and music button on the reciever to power it on. It gave a cleared! message and my remote now works again! The remote in question was rm-aau189
