Greetings,

I must be dense or something. I purchased this remote a few days ago and it works
great. But for whatever strange reason it does not want to control my DSP on my GA80ES.
I programmed (Like the manual indicates) the remote code 02 for the tuner which seems
to set the tuner display (on the remote) to the DSP buttons. But yet none of these buttons
have any effect on the receiver.

Do I need to 'learn' all the buttons for the DSP seperaretly on the remote.???

Before I started to do that (which seems very strange since the manual seems to imply
it works right out of the box) I wanted to ask those who might have already found a simpeler
way to make this work.

Besides that everything works great. (Except for the fact that it does not replace my Dish Network remote
since that seems to be an RF remote only)

Thanks.!!

Hank.

Yeah, on my Sony receiver I had to learn the Sound Field, Genre, Test Tone, and Mode buttons, but once I did, they worked like a charm. All of the Sony "standard" functions of their receivers are built-in.
