The 15-2103 is still available, its $18, or you can get the 15-2116 or 2117, $30. The only other is the 2133 the 6-in-1 kameleon. THAT'S IT, no other radio shack remote will accept advanced codes.

Since this is now old, can anyone tell me which OFA remotes can be used to prgram an AV3000 with discrete codes? (RS would be good too for other members, but useless to me, as there are no RS stores in New Zealand)

The new line OFA remotes now take 5 digit advanced codes(EFC), so any EFC list you see that is 3 digit, you will need to add two zeoes to FRONT of each. these remotes include the urc-6820, 8820, 10820, and 6690.

Thanks for that, Edmund.

The ones I've seen on sale here are 7040, 7562 and 7730 - would these be able to do discrete codes?

Also, I've never done this before, so is there a tutorial on how to use them? I've searched the forums, but probably not hard enough, as I haven't found anything like a dummies guide to loading discretes via an OFA remote.

Also, does anyone know where I can find discrede codes AND component(?) codes for the following:

Samsung DVD-HD747 DVD Player (sames as the HD841 for the US Market)
Roku Photobridge
Onkyo TX-NR901
LG RT-50PX10 Plasma (only need the component code)
Motorola DTH335 Digital Satellite receiver

TIA

Frank
