I am wondering if this is possible. On the TV screen, there are the 4 video buttons on the bottom of the touch screen (i.e. video1,video2,video3,video4). I would like to set the video1 to my Cable component that is listed in the 'Other' section so that if I want to change over to my cable box remote, I could just push that button rather than having to hit 'Other' 'Other' 'Cable'.

You cannot select another component from a component key. A compononent macro will not help, because component macro's always remain on the original device, no matter what is programmed into them. If you use your cable box more than some other device, you can move it to one of the hard buttons so it will always be within easy reach.

Move the "cable" to the STB button, if its not being used.
