I have a Sony DBS (DSS) and have a problem when using the RM-AV2000. All pre-programmed functions work properly except the "guide" function. When I push this button, the guide usually advances many hours as if it has been pushed multiple times. I can sometimes get it to work properly if I very, very ,very quickly touch it. Any comments?

You may want to try learning that code from your original remote. If it still doesn't work using the hold-down method, try just pressing it once, quickly, while learning.
