i bought this remote today used for $70!

only thing is that there's no manual!!!
how is the heck do you use this thing?

other than page flipping and the basic
buttons. i cant figure anything else out!

is there an online manual or could someone
please explain the basic functions? (like
learning...) thanks!

There's no online manual available -- you really need one to program this remote. Here's some basic codes:

OFF + MUTE: Sets a preset code. If you let me know what brand of devices you have I can tell you the codes.

OFF + COMPONENT: Learn buttons (to delete a button hold down RESET and the button at the same time).

OFF + OPTION: Assign a component to the OPTION button.

OFF + VOL+ + VOL-: Change the volume control setting (from TV to AMP and vice versa).

OFF + MACRO 1 2 or 3: Program a Macro

OFF + CH+ VOL+: Program a command to a component button.

OFF + LIGHT: Sets the brightness/timeout of the backlight.

OFF + CH+ + VOL-: Set the power off time.

To program the REC key, hold down REC + PLAY at the same time.
