I have one of these fine remotes, love it too. My question is this, I am looking to buy a 100 disc or more changer to go with my setup. What I am wondering is on the remote can you program the number keys to direct access the cd's in the changer just like you would a television station? Any help would be appreciated. TIA. Kevin

That would depend solely on how the actual CD player works. Unless there's a button for it on the changer's remote, the AV2000 can't do it.

The remote has the numbers on it. So I would imagine you could. But not sure that's why I asked. Kevin

Then I'm not sure exactly what you mean - if the original remote has a standard keypad, then the RM-AV2000 will (after learning) operate the same way. If the original remote has one of those stupid +10 keys (which I hate), then the RM-AV2000 will operate the same. It's solely dependant on the original equipment...
If this isn't the answer you're looking for, could you please clarify the question?

It has a standard keypad just like a telephone keypad would be so you can put the numbers in individual disc number. Thanks for the input Daniel and thanks for the site without it I would have been lost on buying that a remote and by the way I love it
