I have not been able to successfully program many of my components, including my new Sony Wega XBR200 TV. Has anyone successfully programmed their PIP? The XBR200 Wega has side-by-side PIP, as well as 3 different sizes in the four corner TV locations. I can't get any of them to work.

Also, no dice with my Nakamichi CD player or my Yamaha tape deck.

Plus, My Sony 7000 DVD player....the AV2000 wont operate all the fast forward functions correctly. What I drag. So far, I'm not sure I would recommend this product to anyone, and may be looking to return it to computability.com ASAP.

I have a V-series 27" Sony, and the only thing I couldn't program was the ANT button, which I really have no use for any ways. I know what you mean about the Sony DVD player though - FF and RW operate frame-by-frame instead of RW/FF. Simple solution? Program the RW/FF signals from the original remote. I can't comment on Nakamichi or Yamaha products though, since I don't have any.

As for the Nak CD player, I had to learn it all, since the builtin code didn't work at all. One note on this process: I discovered that unless you do the hold-down method while programming FF and REV, you can only skip tracks but not do search.
