I finally got my AV2000 from Computability, and have started to get it all done up.

My problem is that the builtin code (14) for Nakamichi CD players doesn't work with my MB-3s (the single available Nak code on my old All-In-8 works fine). I know I can learn em all, and nobody seems to have run into a memory problem but I'd like to use as many preprogrammed settings as possible. Though I doubt anyone else here has a late model Nak, I thought I'd ask if anyone's found one that works.

I also have a Nak CD player, (ah, quality) but no code worked for me. I tried codes from my other Sony remotes and they didn't work either. It looks like you'll be programming that sucker, at least Sony makes it easy.

My best solution was to buy a Marantz RK2000mkII this is by far the best addition to quality components, it may not have any set up codes but once you're done, the control you have without staring at a touch pad is well worth it. Besides your Nak deserves one.

Actually, the RC2000 is starting to look a little lackluster compared to what the new Pronto (& RC5000) can do.

To the original poster, I'd say just program your Nak CD in.

I ultimately ended up just programming it in. Only took a couple of minutes anyhow. As for having to stare at the touchpad, I've gotten to the point where I can hit the common functions without looking. In the right light, the fingerprints help. :)

I'm still getting used to it after having used a 8-in-One for a number of months.
