I was wondering if the RM-AV2000T can control the new Yamaha receivers like 595. If not I'm not going to let it learn all the codes because I will be busy for 2 days :(
What about Thomson TV's can it control those ?
I think the Sony will be able to control my Sony DVD 315 out of the box or ...?
Any comments appreciated.

It controls my Yamaha 905 with no problem by just entering the Yamaha code. I did add a few extra buttons for surround level menus and so on, but that was about it. My only complaint is that my receiver remote doesn't have one button that can scroll through DSP modes. I had to assign number buttons 1-8 for DSP modes.
