After spending some 6 hours "learning" codes from my Sony Remotes. Reworked a couple of times during my "learning" curve.
XBR-TV, Remote# [RM-Y128]
776HF VCR, Remote# [RMT-V202A]
Recv'r STR-DE915, Remote# [P501]
An RCA DVD's codes which I 'borrowed' at my local retailer.
The home stretch was the digital cable remote XRC200 from General Instrument. A complete bomb with the XRC codes - nada - none are learned correctly although the 'OK' received.
I "learned" the Cable code to my sony AV remote and then use the Sony as the source - still nada...
Called my vendor to get me a Sony AV2000 -
Wish I had started with the Cable remote.
