Anyone know if there's a code that will let a Sony VCR's cable mouse control a JVC-made Dish Network receiver?

Sony only gives DirecTV codes but I thought maybe someone had figured out a code or codes that make it work.

Thanks.

I've got a similar problem. I've got an Echostar Dishplayer 7100. The Echostar code listed in the Sony manual does not work.

I am surprised you have any code at all. For some reason sony is ignoring Echstar (JVC,Philips) equipment.
"Why there is no code available for Dishnet. on Sony's remotes?"
Sony - Dishnetwork has not provided us with proper code
DishNet - Sony did not ask us for anything.

P.S. I had to buy JVC VCR with a cable mouse. less than a year and tuner is breaking down....

Sony ignores DISH/Echostar because they make DIRECTV equipment. That's my guess, at leasy.
