I have been told you can change the internall ir codes of sony dss recievers through the rs232 port. Is this true. Thanks Rob for the model numbers for niles and xantech. I did not know that niles had that product, it was not in my catalog>

From what I can tell you can only turn IR control on and off via the RS-232 port.
