I am looking for a way to change ir codes on 6 different sony dss recievers 4 ar a55 2 are b55. I am not looking for a way to communicate with them in RF. They are all located in a mechanical room, and if you try to change channels on one you change them on all. Radio Frequencies are totally out of the question.

Please help

Jess,

Sony only has one DSS code set.

If you only want distinct receivers controlled from one distinct locations, you can get a zoned IR router. (e.g., Niles IRZ6+).

If you need global control of many receviers from the same location. You will need an addresable IR router.

If you cannot use an RF controller like RTI or Crestron that does IR routing, You will need to use an IR router for independent control and use macros to specify an IR path. Xantech makes a stand alone device(RT-16-10); I am sure others as well.
