Woke up this morning to find my DSS system with signals on odd transponders below 50 and no signal on the even ones. This is on 2 different receivers. Bad LNB? Suggestions? Thanks in advance everybody!

Bad lnb is a possibility, but most common cause of loss of even transponders is cabling problems. If the 18v dc sent by the receiver doesn't get thru to the lnb, it will not switch to the even transponders.

Been having rainy weather lately? Water getting into the connections is a common cause of this. Check all your connections for weather tightness, and make sure you don't have any contact between the sheathing wires and the central conductor in your connecters.

This happened after a long period of rain. Thanks so much. I'll check all the connections and the LNB. Thanks Makai.

I had a brand new Dish Network PVR system. The even transponders would get 0 for a signal. This was on initial installation. After 5 or so calls with the Dish Network support line and switching cables, moving the dish, etc. etc. It turned out to be a bad LNB. They even had me take the receiver to a friends house to verify that the receiver was good. This isn't necessarily what is wrong with your system but the symptoms do match what happened to my system. Good Luck.
