Does the sony b50 have a channel banner? It's really annoying when changing the channel not knowing what I'm watching. I've read the manual and searched this forum but no joy there.
Any ideas,

A channel Banner? Try pressing info. Personally with this dss receiver, it is much easier to display the guide when changing the channels. That way you get the little TV picture with program descriptions while surfing. You might also wasnt to try the Logo surf feature. THat will give you the station logos, small diplay picture of the channel, and some program description.
