Does anyone have experience with digital cable and how it compares to DSS systems?

Is the digital signal decoded on entry and distributed whole house by some sort of RF modulation or is it done at each set - ie do you need a separate cable box for each TV (like DSS) or is this a whole house solution?

Thanks.

You do need a box for each set (much like regular cable boxes before manufacturers' built them in).
