I know that echostar has designed a HDTV decoding device that fits into the high speed data port on there 5000 model recivers. With that confgiuration you will stil need A standard decoder for that to work. Is anyone developing a all in one box, like RCA is doing for Direct TV?

you still need a HDTV decoder to use with the dish network. the module that you are refering to basically converts the HD satellite signal into a Terrestrial over the air HD signal, which you would feed your existing HD decoder.
