I am in Northport. Cablevision has two sports channels (one is MSG), and HBO on their wire here. I see the signal via the antenna input on my RCA DTC100 Satellite Receiver - - no cable box.

Through Cablevision we are able to receive three stations. These Include:

Channel 38-1: MSG
Channel 39-1: Fox Sports
Channel 47-1: HBO

Cablevision sends the signal as OTA so on your STB you will need to set it to this option. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

I thought Cablevision supplied there own STB with the HD decoder built in?? So now if we have DSS, OTA and cable providing HD signal, than some of the DSS STB's wont be able to handle the 3 inputs. Lucky, i guess, for us Sony purchasers, since we have OTA and cable inputs.

Andy: How about if I already get OTA via Rooftop, and I add Cablevision HD, I believe I only have one option for OTA and one option for Cable input on my STB. Would I get HD from both OTA & Cable?
