• CHEX-2's transition takes place during phase 3, not phase 10 as I earlier posted.
• Displayed as 22-1.
• 197 Watts

REPACK UPDATE:  115 stations were slated to shift to new channels in Phase 2. Of those, 102 made the deadline and 13 others bought more time by getting FCC approval to move into later phases — 12 into Phase 3 and one into Phase 5.

MR. RITCHIE WILL TRY IT AGAIN.

An application has been filed in April with the FCC to move WBXZ-LP to channel
, but this time with reduced power towards Hamilton (avoiding conflict with CIII-AYR ).

This Amendment is to change the antenna pattern to reduce coverage into Canada.
This amendment is to add a letter stating we will not begin operation until WPXJ vacates channel 23.

This is a comment on OBICO's message dated 6/12/19.

Yes, but if you currently have trouble getting Fox/29 because most of their power goes southeast of Grand Island you may be able to receive the channel after the move if you can currently receive 4/23. Looks like 29 will use the same RF channel (32), power (1000 KW) and non-directional pattern as 4/23 uses now. Antenna location and height will be nearly the same.

On Thursday May 2nd I posted (4 down) that there was some difficulty for stations making the transition to their new frequencies on time.  This is true for some Buffalo stations.

TCT's Saginaw's (Michigan) station WAQP-DT was to switch to full power on  yesterday, but the transmitter wasn't ready.

TCT's Buffalo's station transition to  has no set date and could be delayed beyond its August 02 deadline.

A source informs me that WUTV's transition to  won't happen until September or October, beyond its August 02 deadline, due to delayed transmitter manufacturing.

Pending any delays, WHAM-DT's tower crew is expected to arrive on July 08, transition to  soon thereafter.

To recap:
• WUTV-DT Grand Island will move to , but not until September or October as the transmitter delivery is delayed. So it will remain on  until then.
• WNLO-DT will move to Colden on  supposedly when
• CITS-DT moves to
It seems that all three have to coordinate their switch simultaneously,
but I'm told from Industry Canada:
CITS-DT is still scheduled to transition in the phase 4. So the station is still required to move to their assigned channel 14 at the latest on August 2, 2019.

We are not aware of the issue with WUTV-DT. In any event, FCC is well aware of CITS-DT changing to ch. 14 by August 2, 2019 and the required protection from the US stations.

There seems to be a conflict.  I'll make some more phone calls and get an update a.s.a.p.

WUTV is now planning to temporarily use the current WNLO transmitter until the new antenna arrives for WUTV tower in the fall.

WUTV-DT's request to operate on WNLO's  for 180 days in now official.

[Link: enterpriseefiling.fcc.gov]

"The Channel 32 transmitter is scheduled to ship on August 26, 2019 and the Channel 32 antenna is scheduled to ship on November 11, 2019."

WIVB-DT, as of July 09, states it anticipates that it will receive all necessary equipment in time to meet the construction deadline for the Station’s main facility, the current phase 4).
