I got mine, and just about everybody who has posted regarding finding one, got theirs at Best Buy.

According to RCA they were about 1500 units backlogged as of last week. They figure they will catch up by year end

WOO HOO! Gave up on the original order and called Radio Shack... They were most helpful, even called back a few days later when they originally could not locate in their system. Anyway, got it but have one question.. Since it did not come with the VGA cable, want to make sure, will a regular (i.e. computer) SVGA cable work?

One more question.. I looked here but could not find.. Anyone have the discreet ANT A, ANT B and Input IR codes for the DTC-100 or any other RCA DSS Dish? Found some discreet codes here but not for these.

just make sure it's a d-15 connector cable. Are you connecting it to a HD ready TV with the same connector. If your TV is for example a first generatio HD ready TV you will need a breakout cable D-15 on one end and RGBHV(BNC) on the other end. Second generation Mitsubishi TV's are RCA connectors for the inputs this year.

OK, the connector on the DTC-100 is the same as a SVGA cable. The connector on the Mitsu HD (Model 55805)is a bit larger, same look but wider. Kind of like the serial port connectors on a PC that are wider than the narrow ones but narrower than the ones the same width as printer ports. In other words, the SVGA cable will connect to the HDTV Decoder but NOT to the tv... SO.. how do I connect? Is there an adapter or am I out of luck in wanting to use the DTC-100 with the Mitsu TV?

I have the DTC-100 and the eliptical dish ordered from The Star Club in LA
([Link: estarclub.com])
They had lots of them paid only 650.00 for the whole thing including shipping , fast service
As for the DTC-100 VGA output it's easy .. look in the yellow pages under cable suppliers there is bound to be a company that makes custom cable assemblies ( Custom Cable ind. --in Tampa) the can make an industry standard VGA to RGB+HV cable the standard calls for BNC connectors but since they are custom building it for you have them put RCA connectors on it. They will be less problematic in the long run than the RS BNC to Phono plug converters. As any one who's been in the computer industry for years can tell you BNC's just get twitchy after awhile for no apperent reason
(10-base2 enet)The HBO channel on 509 looks great
also with the DTC-100 you can just leave the HD monitor switch on and sho all your SAT stuff thru the VGA port thus bypassing the internal scan conversion part on your internal line doubler which usually suck. I have a mitsu 65905. AWESOME picture from my Toshiba DVD with progressive outputs. the s-video is ok but as I said most internal line doublers SUCK. dukehead..
