I am in Mississauga, I am getting couple of channels that are DTV but there is no title for those channels and when i put it on I get "Mode Not supported". Channel # are 43-8 and 43-9, what are these channels?

Related to PBS/WNED. Either a bad scan (marginal signal and corrupt PSIP) or whatever you're using to scan isn't reading it correctly.

Re-reading that old thread, seems more likely non-standard PSIP behavior by the tuner (those channels should be hidden).

I have Samsung tv which also shows these channels, I went ahead and removed both channels from my channel list. Your t.v or converter box should have the option to do the same.

UpdateTV is a service carried on PBS stations which allows software updates for devices such as TVs and converter boxes to be transmitted over the air.

WNED sub-channels - one is used for sending TV updates...
