.. for plenum rated coax cable in Toronto, and weather proof cable joiners.

I want to put my antenna on an existing pole at the back (north side) of the house, near the garage, there was a covered patio back there that collapsed 3 or 4 years ago, and some of the support poles are still there.

There is a cold air return that runs pretty much from the back to the front, and I thought I would chase the cable along that to the furnace room across it, and to a jack on the wall, where the bedroom is.  Because it crosses the furnace room, I would want plenum rated cable.  There is an existing cable TV cable that runs a rather curious and long route through the same trip that is about 3 to 4 times as long.

Debating as well about picking up a $15 Chinese sweatshop 4 bay, I know it's not a Channel Master, but I want to get the Buffalo stations, and figure getting the antenna 8' off the ground is the only way.

I need about 35m.

I use an 8-bay el cheapo, no amp, and get all the Buffaloes. Sometimes even 26-1,2. The antenna is on the roof 35' off the ground. The channel master is made in China.

I didn't get from the first post that the cable actually will run through an area where air that's part of the heating and cooling will flow. "Chasing along" does not say to me "chasing inside."

Plenum cable is designed not to outgas poisonous gases under heat, so they aren't needed if, say, they are in an attic going next to an A/C duct, but not sharing its air.

Be sure to check your locale with tvfool.com to see if any digital stations use VHF before deciding on the antenna.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Because the cable will go between a gas furnace and a gas water heater, I want cable that isn't going to turn liquid from furnace room heat.   Whole thing is now on hold though for a couple of reasons.....  One is that we should be into repeat season in a few weeks, the other reason I can't go into right now....

If you run non-plenum cables through metal conduit you're good to go.
