I've just finished putting up some antennas that I acquired and am trying to improve my signal quality/reception (the antennas I'm using are the Digiwave ANT-7285 and ANT-7288). Now, what I've tried thus far is using either one in a "single" configuration pointing in different directions, as well as stacking them (not really having too much luck in either situation - usually picking up about 6-9 channels - CHCH, SUN, CBC, OMNI1, OMNI2, CTS, TCT, and sometimes CITY or the CW). Having said that, only the first six I would say come in consistently to the point where I can watch them reliably without them going robotic. From what I've read however, I should be able to get significantly more channels using my setup (right now the two antennas stacked on top facing the same direction between Toronto and Buffalo run into an amplifier using about 50 feet of RG-59 cable then out to the rooms in the house). I did have one instance where I pulled in stuff from Cleveland and Pennsylvania which would have been from the back of the antenna (but I guess that was a lucky weather day). My location is about a 3 km north from the middle of the Hamilton airport.

Anyway, is there a particular direction anyone could recommend to point (or configure the antenna in a certain way) to receive the greatest amount of channels consistently (without relying on weather conditions, etc.)? I know I could do trial-and-error but my antenna is quite high (about 45 feet) and its a pain in the behind to go up and test different directions (nor do I have lots of time being in school at the moment). I was also thinking about getting a rotor but with TVs in seven rooms I was hoping to get the same channel line up programmed in each receiver.

Hopefully I can pull in the channels that are listed on the site here from Toronto and Buffalo...
