Hey,
I was just curious as to weather it is possible to use my box that i have from time warner and use it at another house? and if yes, would i be able to receive all the channels i am paying for?
For example if i have 2 boxes at my first house, and i am paying for all the movie channels and i take it to my second house which i am just paying for basic cable and i did a swap, would i be able to get all the movie channels at my second house from the box that i swaped?
i know it sounds kinda complicated, but i hope someone can understand me and offer some help...
Thanks

You can take any digital box or dvr to another address and it will work as long as it's in the same cable system. Not exactly legal though.

Not exactly legal, but not as bad as swapping license plates! If you're paying for the service you're getting, I find it hard to imagine what their damages would be if you did this. And yes, if on the same system, you should be able to swap locations.
I have ACTUALLY said this a thousand times: We can't help you much without the make and model of everything involved in the problem! Unless you want a vague answer. Or none. Your move.
