I'm almost ashamed to post this question. I tried everything I could think of on the remote control and even read the instruction manual for this new set I bought. I can't figure out how to display the signal strength of the DTV channel I'm watching! I even Googled and found reviews of the set KDL-32L5000 proclaiming what a nice signal strength feature it has so it would appear it does it. Any ideas??

FWIW, the set works very well and picks up everything my larger LG does. I just want to know how close to the edge I am.

Yes, indeedally doo. The set doesn't appear to have any provisions for rolling through the channels manually, which is a bit of a drag.

at least the now old sony bravia xbr 5 or 6 will allow you not only to enter a digital channel number but also to scroll through the already memorized channels using the ch + ch - keys. It even switches from hdmi or components or any other input to any tv channel by just entering the channel number which my samsung does not do.

I wouldn't say problem, merely an inconvenience for a casual DTV DXer like myself. Its always nice to scroll through the channels on my LG when band conditions are active. The Sony you either have to manually enter the channels one at a time or re-scan everything. If you're planning on DXing this won't bother you.
