I selected several 'favorite' channels on my TV remote
(Hannespree) but then the cable company changed stuff
around and the channels no longer exist where they were.

The problem this creates is that I need to get to the
now non-existent channel in order to remove it from the
'favorites'. But of course I can't get there anymore.
Where are the 'favorites' stored? I've unplugged the TV
and removed the batteries from the remote but when I power
up the favorites haven't changed.

Basically when you store a channel with the remote, where
is it stored?
In the remote, in the TV, at the cable company? Where?
