I have done some reading but I don't understand. I get extremely high signal strength from 40 - so high it locks up my reciever on scan. I have to remove coax to continue scan. I am in Markham Ont. using a USdigital reciever-I scanned in about 20 stations (5 are wutv) using and outdoor 4 bay antenna. It works execellent -I have a problem with cfto no sound or video. Can some explain this psip thing ? thanks

It's possible the signal is too high - too much can be as bad as too little. Especially if it locks up your receiver. Can you try re-aiming the antenna (off from maximum strength) or using a different/smaller antenna at least for testing?

Thanks Daniel for your response - funny thing last night it was working for the first time for a while, signal like really high - but later we lost video audio ok all other channels were good. When I first pointed antenna I was pointed way off ctv with signal strength about 1/2 and it still didn't work. Do you get CTV reliably ? And if so what area are you from?

I get it reliably... I'm about 15 miles north-north-east of the CN tower (Markham, like you). And I use a big antenna since I'm in a valley.

I wonder if the problem might be the receiver? I know CTV can sometimes throw some of them for a loop...

I've had an e-mail conversation this week with someone at CFTO (great guy), outlining a non-psip issue that I discovered during a web-search, and he said their engineers are investigating.

Well, it may be a coincidence, but I'm getting CFTO reliably for the first time as of yesterday (might have been sooner, that's just when I checked). I suspect it may work for you now.

I'm in Oshawa with an indoor Samsung Axession antenna (amped Silver-Sensor clone) and an HDTV Wonder using WatchHDTV and not that MMC garbage.

Hi Guys- Am new in HDTV field. I have a MCE2005 box an currently receiving expressvue programing. I just installed Ati HDtv wonder and have no problem running it it in mce. As soon as I change the TV guide setting back to bell I lost all the digital channel lineup in the program guide.
I can's see the digital settin in TV setup even after I have change the registry back to US.
could send me instruction how to make it work with mce including tv guilde.

Thanx.

I just did a scan a couple days ago; still coming in for my standalone. But CFTO's PSIP seems to have constant rotating problems for certain standalones and MCE systems.
